Chiro Guys founder, Dr. Guy DiTommaso has been a licensed chiropractor for over four decades. He is a 1980 graduate of the New York Chiropractic College, he has founded several multidisciplinary practices across New York, New Jersey, and Florida. Dr. Guy has continued his education, completing 3 years of post-grad study in Neurology and 2 years in Orthopedics. Never one to rest, he was a pioneer in bringing Needle EMG/NCV testing to the chiropractic profession in New York, helping doctors to more accurately diagnose their patients. He has always tried to find new ways to help his patients be as healthy as they can. That is why after retiring for the second time 3 years ago he has returned to practice in the Richmond area.

Guy has always been an entrepreneur. Even before graduating from university, he opened his first company. The company was known as Valhalla Detailing which grew in just one year to one of the largest and most well-respected facilities in central New Jersey. Always looking for new and successful experiences, he then ventured in the hospitality industry for several years but eventually returned to his passion of automobile restoration. This time he built a company that expanded to four locations with 35 employees. After selling that company, Guy worked with a leading company in the cold storage industry. During his tenure, he used Lean operation techniques to streamline the business and advance production. In 2022, Guy and his father Dr. Guy decided to go into business together. This venture is called Chiro Guys.
Sandy Lawson, Certified Personal Trainer
Director of Group Exercise & Personal Training
Sandy has worked in health and wellness her whole career. Starting as a middle school health and PE teacher, plus track & field hockey coach, she left teaching when she became a mom and worked directly in the fitness field starting in 2003. She acquired certifications as a Personal Trainer, Medical Exercise Specialist, and Flexologist, as well as group exercise with specialty formats in TRX, Cycle, PiYo, Les Mills Core, Yoga, TaiJiFit, Senior Fitness, & lastly PWR! Moves to work with Parkinson’s patients. She has participated in triathlons and many road running races, including 10 marathons. It’s apparent that fitness is her passion, but exercising, traveling, and serving at church with her husband of over 23 years and 2 young adult children are also among her greatest joys.
Jessie Calderon
Office Manager
Jessie Calderon is the office manager at Chiro Guys Chiropractic office. Jessie is proficient, caring, creative, and professional. She believes that being an active listener ensures others are heard, understood, and appreciated. She supports staff by directing oriented operational reports. In addition to her administrative skills, she is also highly personable and treats each employee and patient with care and empathy. Jessie loves to encourage, motivate, and teach persistence. She believes that everyone possesses an important quality that makes them unique. She holds a Master’s Degree in Education and Human Resources. At the Chiro Guys office, Jessie works very close with Dr. Guy Ditommaso in order to analyze procedures and policies and make adjustments as needed in order to keep the practice running smoothly.

The name Chiro Guys came up because of the two owners’ names, Dr. Guy DiTommaso and Guy DiTommaso Jr.
What’s something interesting about Dr. Guy?
One of Dr. Guy’s passions is sailing. The first time he retired in 2005, he sailed away for Rock Hall Maryland for 4 years and sailed all over the Atlantic, Caribbean, Pacific, and the Mediterranean Sea. When he returned to the States in 2009, he landed in Florida and started to practice there for 12 years before moving to Richmond.
What’s something interesting about Guy?
Guy is a family man. He loves spending time with his daughters and cooking for his family. Guy attended Johnson and Wales University focused on Hotel / Casino management where he discovered a real passion for great food after attending the culinary program.
